Noon Docs · Getting Started · Concepts · Guides · Reference

Noon is a headless CMS with no browser admin screen. You administer it by telling an AI agent what to do, and the agent calls a set of typed MCP tools to create pages, write posts, publish content, and manage a site. It runs on shared hosting through to a full Postgres server.

Noon is for anyone who runs a site through an agent instead of a dashboard: content editors, developers, and operators who prefer to describe what they want rather than click through forms.

What you can do

First run

Connect your agent, then ask it to create and publish a page. Under the surface, that is two tool calls.

{"tool": "create_page", "arguments": {
  "slug": "about",
  "title": "About us",
  "layout": {"blocks": [{"type": "RichText", "props": {"markdown": "# About us"}}]}
}}

This lands as a draft and returns an id and a revision. Publish it with that id and revision:

{"tool": "publish", "arguments": {
  "entityType": "page",
  "id": "<id-from-create_page>",
  "expectedRevision": <revision-from-create_page>
}}

The page is live as soon as publish returns. See Connect an agent to set up the connection first.
